IDC Group was pleased to participate in the first edition of the International Exhibition of Extractive Resources and Energy (SIREXE). This event, held from November 27 to December 2, 2024, in Abidjan, represents the first expo in Africa to bring together the three key sectors: Mining, Oil, and Energy. It thus establishes itself as a crucial platform for exchanges in the extractive and energy industries in West Africa.
A Significant Presence for IDC Group
Our booth, ideally located in the “Mines” Hall, was designed to offer a dynamic and immersive experience to visitors.
Thanks to the work of our teams, we were able to highlight:
- Our complete range of services and our expertise in the mining sector.
- Our operational performance and a glimpse of our equipment fleet.
- Interactive animations, such as a wheel of fortune and a photobooth area, which were very popular with visitors.
Strategic and Rewarding Encounters
During the six days of the exhibition, we welcomed over 300 visitors, including major decision-makers from the extractive sector, specialized suppliers, as well as young talents looking for new professional opportunities.
Our teams also participated in several panel discussions, during which strategic themes were addressed, including:
- “What strategies for developing and intensifying mining exploration?”
- “Negotiating mining contracts.”
These discussions provided an opportunity to share our expertise while exploring new avenues for collaboration in Ivory Coast and, more broadly, in West Africa.
This event also allowed us to reaffirm our commitment to the mining industry, focusing on crucial issues such as performance, safety, and environmental respect.
