Hierarchical Reporting
The storekeeper reports to the Materials Accountant, who also acts as the warehouse supervisor.
Missions and Objectives
- Ensure proper organization and upkeep of the warehouse
- Ensure stock availability according to needs
Main Responsibilities and Tasks
1. Stock Reception
- Ensure proper archiving of goods receipt documentation
- Receive and inspect deliveries for quantity and quality
- Verify incoming items by matching purchase orders with supplier delivery notes
- Report any discrepancies to the buyer, who will handle it with the supplier
- Send a signed copy of the delivery note to the stock manager for database entry
- Monitor conformity between central warehouse dispatches and site-level receptions
2. Stock Dispatch
- Maintain accurate stock tracking files
- Prepare Goods Issue and Transfer Notes (GITN) based on requests from users or other subsidiaries’ warehouses
- Send GITNs to the stock manager for processing in the database
- Deliver requested items to user departments
- Physically handle inter-site and inter-depot transfers
- Ensure proper archiving of stock-out documentation
3. Inventory
- Ensure every construction site is inventoried at shutdown and restart
- Alert on potential stockouts and inform the site manager and stock manager to anticipate restocking
- Perform ongoing and periodic inventories as scheduled by the Supply Chain
- Analyze discrepancies and report them to the stock manager
4. Warehouse Organization
- Organize the warehouse by creating locations according to the stock management file
- Assign each item to a specific location
- Maintain physical storage conditions (cleanliness, hygiene, safety)
- Organize warehouse operations and control access
Required Skills
Knowledge
- Minimum: High School Diploma (Baccalaureate)
- Proficient with MS Office, especially Excel
Know-How
- Ability to read and interpret order tracking documents
- Familiarity with inventory management processes

- Well-organized and detail-oriented
- Conscientious and responsible
Working Conditions
Working hours:
- 8 AM to 6 PM (Monday to Thursday), 8 AM to 5 PM (Friday)
